中新社北京7月9日电 阿克拉消息：加纳总统约翰·德拉马尼·马哈马当地时间8日宣布成立特别工作组，旨在打击长期困扰该国的非法采金和走私活动。
此前，作为非洲第一大黄金生产国的加纳饱受非法采金和走私等活动困扰，这也给该国造成巨大的经济损失和环境问题。
据美联社报道，特别工作组由来自加纳各安全机构和军队的官员组成，有权逮捕和拘留嫌疑人。特别工作组将与加纳黄金委员会携手，努力遏制加纳非法采金者的泛滥，瓦解黄金黑市交易。
加纳黄金委员会于今年1月成立，是管理该国所有小型矿业公司开采的黄金交易和出口的唯一法人实体。
路透社报道称，马哈马表示，加纳计划在2026年前实施全国黄金追溯系统，并将过渡到精炼黄金出口。该国还将寻求通过设立经国际标准化组织认证的质保化验实验室和专业制造中心，从黄金中获取更多价值。(完) 【编辑:陈海峰】
