　　中新网北京7月8日电墨西哥城消息：当地时间7月7日，墨西哥政府宣布，已开始在该国南部建造一座价值5100万美元的不育蝇工厂，旨在应对正在蔓延的螺旋蝇蛆病，该疾病此前影响到墨西哥对美国的牛只出口。

　　路透社援引墨西哥农业部发表的一份声明称，该工厂预计在2026年上半年完工，为墨西哥与美国合作项目，完工后每周预计将生产1亿只不具生殖能力的螺旋蝇幼虫。而释放由这种不育蛆虫蜕变的螺旋蝇，可以有效减少野生螺旋蝇种群的繁殖数量，从而达到控制螺旋蝇蛆病规模的目的。

　　螺旋蝇蛆病是一种由螺旋蝇的幼虫引起的疾病，这种蝇将卵产在恒温动物(包括人类)的开放性伤口中。幼虫孵化后进入伤口内部，以活组织为食，进而造成疾病甚至死亡。此前，因担心螺旋蝇蛆病传播，美国曾数度暂停墨西哥活畜进口。

　　今年5月11日，由于曾在美国根除多年的螺旋蝇蛆病开始从墨西哥向北蔓延，美国关闭了对来自墨西哥的牲畜进口通道，其中包括家畜、野牛和马。6月30日，美国农业部宣布逐步恢复从墨西哥进口活体牛、野牛和马，港口将分阶段重新开放。(完) 【编辑:郑云天】
