　　当地时间6月11日，加拿大不列颠哥伦比亚省本拿比市发表公告称，该市决定于今年11月15日，就历史上针对华裔的歧视进行正式道歉。

　　本拿比市表示，自1892年至1947年，本拿比政府对在该市居住、工作和经商的华裔人士施行的政策和做法是歧视性的，严重限制了华裔人士的权利和机会。该市市长和市议会将正式道歉，并承诺采取和解措施，解决历史上歧视的问题。

　　除道歉外，该市还承诺提高华裔加拿大人历史和文化在公共场所的知名度，促进保存和分享华裔文化和历史的活动，以及减少障碍、鼓励包容等。

　　19世纪后期，大量华工参与修筑加拿大太平洋铁路。但1885年铁路竣工后，加政府通过《华人入境条例》，用征收高额“人头税”的办法限制华人定居和入境。1923年，加拿大实施新的《华人移民法案》，完全禁止中国人入境和入籍，直至1947年才被废除。2005年以来，加拿大联邦政府、不列颠哥伦比亚省政府和新西敏市政府先后就历史上歧视华人的政策道歉。(央视新闻客户端 总台记者 赵淼) 【编辑:刘湃】
